March 4, 2010 (Held at the RMS Library)
For the March 4th Session, we need a team of no more than 5 people from each building (Title I Teachers For Sure Need to Attend) who will be the building Coaches, people who will "Train Other Teachers". This team will continue to support the efforts of this workshop long after the presentation. All teachers will all be required to set a Differentiated Goal at the workshop that these Coaches will need to nurture and support. Administrators need to also attend this workshop. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided, as well as lunch.
Times:
8:00-12:00
12:00-12:45 Lunch
12:45-4:30
* AV Equipment Needs From RMS- Speakers For Amplification, a screen, a powerstrip, and a microphone.
* Important!! Teachers Need to Bring - A lesson/unit in which they have seen critical student differences related to prior knowledge. Also bring any related curriculum resources. They will use these during the workshops.
March 5, 2010 Whole Group (Held in the RHS Cafeteria)
Snacks will be provided for both sessions
8:00-11:30 - Grades K-6
12:00-3:30 - Grades 7-12

If anyone else can help with the following addionally needed items please let me know 8 X 11 paper for all participants, sticky notes (a dozen or so per participant), a flip chart with paper, and duck tape/masking tape for hanging flip chart paper?

CPI Meets PBS
Marc Wills Presenter has done extensive work in regards to bringing together the principles of CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) and PBS (Positive Behavior Support). He will work with participants to improve their skills to be able to intervene positively before a behavior escalates into a behavior infraction.
